OUR STORY
Cincinnati Fitness & Boxing (CFB) is owned and run by Jeff Perry. CFB was founded in 2009 with the goal of establishing an authentic boxing gym in which anybody could train like a boxer - whether their goal is to learn a new skill, change-up their workout routine, lose weight and get fit, just have some fun or actually get in the ring and compete. We're centrally located in Camp Washington, just north of downtown and less than 2 miles west of the University of Cincinnati.
What we’re most proud of is the community we have built over the years and getting to meet people from all walks of life, seeing them fall in love with the sport of boxing, grow in confidence, and push each other to achieve their goals. We’ve gotten to coach one of the few high school boxing teams in the country and build the University of Cincinnati Boxing Club from its inception into one of the strongest college teams in the nation. It’s always exciting to see the boxers we began coaching as students pass on the knowledge they learned and become well-respected trainers themselves. We’ve had multiple movies, music videos, and commercials filmed at the gym. We’ve run countless private classes and training sessions - including all types of groups such as UC Surgeons, FC Cincinnati, Xavier Basketball, disadvantaged youth groups, fraternities and sororities, youth football teams, some of the best amateur boxers from Ireland as part of the Bridges Beyond Boxing program, various university clubs, church groups, co-workers at different businesses, and many others.
We’re always excited to see who’s going to walk through our doors on any given night. eager to introduce them to the sport of boxing or help take their training to the next level, and welcome them into our community.
